IMI is a four piece 'Urban Roots' band performing a special blend of Reggae, Ska, Funk, Soul, Punk, R&B, and Blues.

The drummer plays a 5 piece 'Premier' drum kit. The bassist runs through a Bi-amped AMPEG B3 and can be mixed or run direct. The guitarist plays a Mesa Boogie Mark IV into a Marshall 4X10 cabinet and sings back-up vocals. IMI has a male lead singer who plays a standing percussion rig consisting of a roto-tom, bass rom and free standing tiny crash cymbal. He also plays various handheld percussion instruments (cowbell, tambourine, cabassa, etc.).
