Upstate New York’s IMI is a four piece band dedicated to their original urban roots style, an aggressive blend of Reggae,
Funk, and Ska. Each member is born of a different musical background, making for a unique blend of several styles of music.
For the past year and a half, IMI has been pleasing audiences across the Northeast. With the release of their debut CD, “ The
First Big Nasty,” IMI has broadened their reach with regularly scheduled tours of the East Coast. The IMI empire has
amassed quickly, with over one thousand mailing list members, a 1(800) hotline, website, and various IMI merchandise. Cuts
from “The First Big Nasty” are frequently requested on stations in New York State and are broadcast on several stations down
the East Coast. IMI’s high energy stage show has become notorious for winning over audiences and getting even the shyist
